LyndsayFreeman is a mother of two and a Transport Officer in the Australian Army. Awarded the Chief of Army Scholarship in 2020 to research gender and conflict, Lyndsay has a Master of International Development Practice at Monash University. The Senior Instructor for the ADF's Gender, Peace and Security Courses, she co-founded the Women in Future Operations through UNSW and the 'Propel Her - Defence Women's Leadership Series' and leads the Youth Advisory Council for the National Institute of Strategic Resilience(NISR). She seeks innovative ways to positively change and advance gender equality through her military experience, academic studies, motivation andvision.
