Yaso is currently the Assistant Director-General Data and Digital /Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer for the National Archives of Australia. She is responsible for the delivery of data and digital solutions for the National Archives of Australia and Government Records Assurance.  She is currently leading the transformation program of work to implement a contemporary digital preservation platform for the National Archives.

Prior to joining the National Archives, Yaso was a Senior Executive Service (SES) leader at the Department of Defence and led a number of branches in the Chief Information Officer Group at Defence.  Her roles included leading the delivery of digital capability across a number of domains including the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Geospatial and Mobility and Digitisation Domains. She has also worked as a senior security engineer for industry in the US.

She holds a BSc in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and is a member of the Oxford University SAID Business School Alumni.
